I earned my Business Degree from Santa Barbara Business College in 1991. Always a self-motivated and hardworking individual, I put myself through school by cleaning carpets and doing odd jobs. In 2004 I started “Perfect Polish” by cleaning the toughest jobs I could find — ones that others weren’t willing to do. Through hard work and a positive attitude, Perfect Polish has grown every year and by any measure has been a tremendous success.

In addition to being founder and CEO of Perfect Polish, I’m the driving force behind creating The A Specialist — providing a comprehensive solution to my customers in maintaining the cleanliness of their businesses and ensuring they stay compliant with all regulatory agencies. At the same time, I’m also the driving force behind the charitable work that’s inseparable from my business. I’ve chosen to integrate “Children’s Hope Chest” and “Hope International” into my company. Both of these organizations are well-established charities that support the type of work I’m most passionate about — repairing broken lives by giving people hope, faith, love, value, sustenance and work.

I recently completed my Master’s in Global Leadership at Western Seminary — a chapter of growth I added while running my companies and pouring into the leaders around my Convene teams. Throughout my career, I’ve developed several leaders dedicated to the service industry, employing hundreds of people, many of whom were out of work. I gave them the gift of opportunity and the confidence that comes with success, and now many own successful operations of their own.

I believe that true success is found in finding and serving something bigger than ourselves. And that takes dedication and discipline. With a diverse background that includes winning the LA Sprint Triathlon, qualifying and competing in the Ironman World Championship-KONA, founding multiple successful businesses, and overcoming cancer twice, I am now laser-focused on helping others achieve their full potential by integrating faith, work… a connection to something meaningful that far outlives us.

In my current position as Chair of Convene, it’s my joy and fervent desire to help successful business leaders to not only thrive in their niche, but keep their eye on what’s truly important. I believe “iron sharpens iron” and as we ask the right questions and seek truthful and revealing answers, I know success will follow. My commitment to helping people reaches beyond business. I’ve served as a lay leader in various charities, trained numerous athletes and teams, and opened my home to those in need. I frequently travel to third-world countries to investigate, assist, and develop promising young entrepreneurs there, providing encouragement, guidance and first-hand counsel along the way. I’m a man of many passions — my wife, my three children, and two grandchildren. I’m passionate about the assortment of kids my family and I have “adopted,” about mentoring young people, and about integrating the passions of my life with my business.
