Before becoming a Convene Chair, Joe gained thirty years of business experience in the construction and real estate development industries.
Joe considers his role as Convene Chair a true calling and intersection of his God-given passion, talent and experience. 40 years of business practice in the construction and real estate development industries along with a graduate degree in Theology have formed him for this role.
Joe has unique experience successfully navigating the nuances and dynamics common to partnerships and family businesses. His entrepreneurial roles have given him broad exposure to the complexity of business ownership and growth. He is a champion of healthy leadership, team communication, and values-driven culture. Joe’s giftedness is facilitating healthy and productive dialogue among partners, management teams, and Boards.
Joe holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters in Practical Theology from the University of San Diego. He and his wife, Frannie, have three grown daughters, two of them married, and three grandsons.
