Scott, a native of Southern California and a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, has built a diverse and accomplished leadership career over several decades. His professional journey spans entrepreneurial ventures, corporate roles at Taco Bell/Pepsi, and The Walt Disney Company. Transitioning into executive roles in the real estate and property and casualty insurance industries at First American and Doma, Scott demonstrated his leadership ability to drive business growth, streamline operations, and foster a collaborative and innovative workplace culture.
Scott’s expertise includes executive leadership, operations management, sales and business development, strategic planning, and change leadership. He has a proven track record of addressing intricate business challenges, fostering collaborative and innovative workplace cultures while achieving transformative outcomes, such as elevating profitability, optimizing resource utilization, enhancing customer satisfaction, and elevating employee engagement and morale.
As Chair for Convene, Scott is driven by his passion for mentoring and leading others, guided by biblical principles. He finds profound fulfillment in the opportunity to develop Christian business leaders, helping them uncover their gifts, overcome challenges, and thrive in both ministry and the marketplace. Outside of his professional life, Scott has been married to his wife Stacy for 32 years. They have four children: Megan, Bryce, Madison, and Brendan. His hobbies include coaching youth sports, endurance sports such as marathons, Ironman, and ultra-distance biking events with a touch of Pickleball thrown in.
