A fervent empowerer of people, Beth is a lifelong advocate for ensuring individuals have the right seat on the organizational bus. She loves to ask hard questions and facilitate crucial conversations that leaders know need to happen but are often too concerned with “being liked” to kickstart themselves.

Beth believes deeply that personal and professional development are not clichés; rather, they work hand in hand with spiritual development and who God created us each to be. She is tenacious – and inspires others to show up authentically to enrich their teams, organizations, missions, and bottom lines.

Beth is deeply strategic and results-oriented. She held a highly successful corporate consultancy position for the first twenty-five years of her career, with a strong track record of change leadership and business performance in organizations ranging from one location to Fortune 100 companies. She helped restructure foundations, strategies, and processes - starting with the people who show up to do the work every day. From CEOs and business owners to C and mid-level management, Beth champions best practice execution by helping others lead a culture of authenticity, focus, transparency, accountability, and transformational improvement.

After leaving her consultancy career, Beth became the Chief Advancement Officer and interim CEO at a $30m non-profit organization, where she led a team of 18 people, sat on the Executive Leadership Team, and increased revenue by 20% YoY. She now serves as a Senior Strategist for an agency primarily focused on worldwide NPOs and consults in that role with Ph.D. researchers who conduct work at the intersection of God and humanity. She is a recognized expert in the content services field and speaks not only within corporate client organizations but also at industry conferences. While Beth has an exceptionally strong business process acumen, she also has an exceptional ability to teach, mentor, and increase output among teams. Few things are more professionally fulfilling to her than inspiring change and motivating leaders to implement unapologetic structures and execute winning strategies – all while bridging the gap between expectations and reality.

Beth writes at length about managing expectations in her best-selling Christian-published book, Remorseless: Learning to Lose Labels, Expectations, and Assumptions—Without Losing Yourself, and speaks frequently on this topic, including as a member of the C-Suite for Christ’s Speakers Bureau and as a guest preacher within several churches. Beth holds two master’s degrees in theology and founded her own consulting company, Fisher Strategic. She also holds a Certified Holistic Coaching Accreditation and is a contributing writer to various publications, including Street Smart, a bi-monthly newsletter for Christian missions around the country, and TransplantNATION, a magazine printed six times a year that works to connect and support the growing audience in the United States who are in the organ donation and transplantation world.

As a leukemia survivor, Beth had a life-saving Bone Marrow Transplant in 1999. That experience is what deepened her relationship with Jesus to the point today - unwavering in her faith and determined to show up alongside others on their personal and professional journeys.

Testimonials

“Plain and simple, Beth understands business. She is honest in her delivery and knows how to connect the dots, even when it’s hard to hear or unrecognizable to others. As a business owner, relying on Beth as a confidant to weigh out business decisions has been a tremendous asset to our success.”

Terrence Lowis
CEO of Chief Reality Office

“Creativity is thinking up new things. Innovation is doing new things. If there’s a way to describe Beth Fisher, she is the embodiment of this quote by Theodore Levitt. Not only in the way she is able to creatively establish the “new normal” with whatever challenge you have, but also in a way that she takes creative ideas and walks them through a brick wall (with grace) to become reality. She is a visionary, but more importantly, she is an innovator. If Beth is guiding you towards a certain destination, even if you don’t yet have a vision for it, it’s more than likely the place you need to go.”

Charles Lewis
Strategic Accounts Director, Virtuous

"It was wonderful to watch community develop as leaders who may not have otherwise connected shared openly and encouraged each other. People were advocating for each other and asking hard questions together. There’s no doubt in my mind that a unique sense of community was created during this time together that would not have evolved otherwise."

Robin Nawrocki
Associate Director

“I’ve always had a respect and admiration for Beth. I knew that if I were to receive coaching, I wanted it to come from someone just like her – driven and successful, but with a character full of grace, love, and respect.”

Erika Mariglia
Nonprofit Leader

“Beth is inspiring and amazing; she is the most relatable down to earth person I have met in a long time. Her insight, knowledge and wisdom are a breath of fresh air. Sometimes it helps hearing someone else share the thoughts and perspective we dare not share, without fear or judgment. The sessions brought our members closer together as a whole. It felt good to connect, share, and relate to one another in a vulnerable and real way. If you have ever thought you or your employees could benefit from team building for a higher level of performance and to make work fun & enjoyable again, I highly recommend Beth Fisher!”

Jen Dilbeck
Senior Director Operations, Moore

"Our organization is going through a reinvention, and we have a variety of team members from varying backgrounds who are learning to work together in a completely remote environment. To say that we had a serious need to develop community is an understatement, and we found it in our sessions with Beth.”

Chelsea Elsaesser
Director, Moore

“The people that will tell you not what you want to hear but what you NEED to hear are the ones you should listen to. Beth is that person. She is not afraid to have difficult conversations with you because she has your best interest at heart and knows you can achieve more.”

Corporate HR Manager, Meijer

Intrapreneurial Leader Groups

Are you preparing for a more influential role as a leader and seeking to make a real difference while empowering others along the way?

Most leaders face significant challenges alone, isolated from their Christian peers who intimately understand the pressures of business leadership or ownership. Our leadership development process brings leaders together to face those challenges in community. We provide time-tested peer group experiences and executive coaching to accelerate their personal and professional growth so that they can have a redemptive impact on their business, direct reports, clients, and community.

Your role as a leader in your organization comes with significant challenges.

  • How do you deal with imposter syndrome?

  • How do you lead up to or alongside your executive team, investors, and partners?

  • How do you gain familiarity with areas of expertise outside of your own?

  • How do you drive profitability for your organization or business?

Facing these challenges alone is a recipe for frustration and burnout over time. As someone who aspires to grow your career and organization, it’s important to take care of yourself and develop as a well-rounded leader—both as an investment in yourself and your work. Growth and transformation take time, but throughout the course of any career, the best time is spent within the company of other trusted leaders facing similar seasons of life.

WHAT IS AN INTRAPRENEUR?

Whether leading a team within a large organization or leading a company as a small business owner, thinking like an entrepreneur is an incredible asset. As described by the Inc. article by Gene Hammett, “Employees with entrepreneurial mindsets are assets not threats to your company.” My experience is they are a valued asset. The point is to understand why someone operates as a “lone ranger” and someone else operates entirely differently. The most successful leaders and their teams value differences and strategically operate with both respect and joy within them.

Regardless of what role you have in an organization, the goal of our groups is to help you develop an entrepreneurial mindset that looks at the world through a Kingdom lens and a biblical foundation. Intrapreneurial leaders learn to act decisively, problem-solve, innovate, and execute from within larger organizations and companies instead of believing they have no pull.

WHAT IS AN INTRAPRENEURIAL LEADER GROUP?

Our Intrapreneurial Leader groups are designed to give Christian business leaders an opportunity for both spiritual and strategic community regardless of their role within an organization or how far along they are in the business life cycle. Historically, Convene has served CEOs who manage a few million to over a billion in revenue through its Forum teams. Intrapreneurial Leader groups represent the first time that Convene is opening the doors to a much wider audience, allowing leaders in varying stages of development and responsibility to find community, even if they do not meet the criteria for some of Convene’s original offerings.

WHY JOIN AN INTRAPRENEURIAL LEADER GROUP?

If your career has been anything like mine, you have likely had plenty (sometimes, annoyingly so) of opportunities to get involved with other professionals through networks, groups, or other social arrangements. However, these opportunities never allowed you to solve intense business challenges with peers who understood the struggles of business leadership. If you are just looking for a community of Christian peers, there are plenty of options out there and I would be happy to help connect you with them. But if you are looking for a high-impact group of Christian peers that can tackle complex business problems beyond surface level and push you to the next level of your leadership and business, then these groups are for you.

INTRAPRENEURIAL LEADERS JOIN CONVENE TO:

  • Build capacity for stronger leadership and expanded roles and influence

  • Leverage best practices for organizational excellence, greater profitability & faster growth for their businesses, clients, and direct reports

  • Connect to a high-capacity peer group to work through “tough issues” in a risk-free, non-judgmental & confidential environment

  • Receive executive coaching and leadership development while reducing isolation and improving life balance

  • Be equipped and inspired towards greater integration of faith and purpose within business…and life

  • Process personal growth through bi-annual leadership assessments

How are members selected?

In order to facilitate connection and relationships in a virtual setting, each of my Convene teams is limited to 15 members. Because of this, the process to become a member is highly selective. Most leaders will already be in leadership roles within their company, but we are open to having conversations with anyone who demonstrates a humility that attracts influence.

What is the meeting format?

My Intrapreneurial Group meets via Zoom for two hours of group coaching twice per month and each member receives 45 minutes of One2One™ coaching. All members also receive thousands of articles, videos, and tools for maximizing their Kingdom output in the workplace, including access to leadership assessments and additional coaching for their team.
